Lauren and Brandon were married at Piazza in the Village in Colleyville, TX. The couple found their venue while at a bridal show in Dallas, and they fell in love with the Piazza when they visited it. With its beautiful chandeliers and charming atmosphere, to the fact that it would be very convenient to have the ceremony and reception at the same place, it was the perfect spot.
The wedding theme was one of rich jewel tones; emerald green, deep blue and purple; along with lots of crystals and sparkle! Amidst the sparkle, the bride wore a Demetrios white strapless dress with a beaded top, ruching, and asymmetrical pickups from Brides by Demetrios in Frisco. Her shoes were a pair of silver sparkle heels by Antonio Melani that she purchased at Dillards.
She completed her wedding day look with a silver sparkle bracelet from Brides by Demetrios and silver teardrop earrings from The Bridal Palace in Tulsa OK. The bride also carried a bouquet of blue, purple, and white flowers, adorned with sparkly, jeweled brooches from her great grandmothers.
The bridesmaids all wore long dresses with sequin trim; the Maid of Honor and Matron of Honor in emerald green, and the rest of the girls in purple. The girls accessorized with matching rhinestone bracelets and various styles of silver, sparkle earrings. They each got a mini emergency kit from The Container Store that came in a mini silver sparkle bag.
All of the girls had their hair, makeup, and nails done at the Elixir Day Salon in Colleyville TX. To match the sparkly theme of the wedding, the girls all had sparkled, light pink shellac nails, and the bride wore a sparkle hair clip from Brides by Demetrios, and a rhinestone trimmed veil.
The groom and his groomsmen were outfitted in Ralph Lauren tuxes from Al’s Formal Wear, and Brandon added a little personal touch with Dallas Cowboy cufflinks.
Amanda Dale, from High Fire Designs (now Lizzie Bees Flower Shoppe), did the flowers for the big day, decorating the venue with beautiful jewel toned flowers, along with candles and crystals.
The reception was catered by Piazza in the Village. For cocktail hour, there was a delicious assortment of lobster empanadas, mini quiche, and ham & gruyere bites. A sit down dinner started with a spinach and blue cheese salad, accompanied by bread, and was followed by a bacon wrapped filet, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus.
Delicious Cakes in Southlake TX made the cakes for the wedding.
The Bride’s cake was 5 tiers of delicious pink Champagne and wedding cake, with fresh strawberry filling and white icing.
The Groom’s Cake was chocolate with chocolate filling and chocolate icing, and decorated with the Dallas Cowboys logo.
Glittery invitations and stationary were purchased from the Etsy shop, Just Invite Me.
Wedding favors included Godiva truffles in silver boxes wrapped with custom ribbons, and “beechies,” which are small mints. The packages said “2 Beechies,” which the couple thought was perfect because their last name is Beechly and the Brandon’s nickname is “Beech.” When they said “I do,” there were then 2 Beechs. Guests also received welcome gift bags featuring personalized wedding items and Dallas related items, such as cake balls from Breadwinners in Dallas, Dallas Blonde beer from Deep Ellum Brewery, and a custom “Harky & Beech” wedding notepad in the couple’s wedding colors.
For their honeymoon, the newlyweds will be traveling first to Hawaii in May, and then to Germany in June. While in Hawaii, they plan to relax and do some deep sea fishing, and in Germany they will travel and explore new sights.
Lauren and Brandon both had a few most memorable moments of their special day. For the bride, one was walking down the aisle& seeing her groom’s face. She didn’t notice anything else but him, and she couldn’t wait to become his wife. One of the groom’s favorite memories was standing at the altar, watching his bride walk down the aisle.
Both the bride and groom just loved having all their loving family and friends in one place to celebrate with them. Being that everyone lives all over the place, this was the only time that they ever had all their loved ones in the same place at the same time; it was perfect!
